Creating this project has been a dream of mine for quite a while, and it all started with a personal experience. A few years back, I was trying to find a simple guide to set up our church’s livestreaming system but kept hitting dead ends. Then I stumbled upon Churchfront.com's YouTube channel (big thanks to Jake!), where they tour different churches and break down their audio and video setups in detail. While I never ended up setting up the livestreaming system, that experience made me realize how much easier it would be if there was a single place to find products and resources for church needs. That’s when the idea for ChristianPicks really took shape.

Another big reason for building this directory was my desire to learn full-stack web development. I’ve worked on smaller projects before, but many never made it to production, or they were just simple apps with basic functionality. I wanted to challenge myself by building something meaningful from scratch—something that could actually make a difference.

As I continue to build and grow ChristianPicks, my goal is to keep adding more content and features. I truly hope this directory helps you find what you’re looking for. Blessings to you!
